Purchased Stick-it for hunting purposes. Overall, I love the concept of having my range finder on my harness strap. Kudos for making this easy, as I'd messed with big magnets and nonsense that I never actually took into the woods. What disappointed me was the cheap-o plastic curly-q tether. I could see this failing in freezing temps, easily breaking - costing me a very expensive rangefinder. I replaced it with a piece of paracord and a steel fastener. Also - the metal piece is very noisy for a hunting model. I've used some cloth camo tape to quiet it when I return the rangefinder to the holder. I know you're in business to make money - but the corner cutting was a disappointment. $30+ for an elastic strap, velcro, magnet and rubberized metal holder is a bit much...the insult is the thought of trusting my equipment to a shoddy connector tether. Designed for golf - sold for hunting, but clearly hunters weren't consulted. Cheaper than some of the competitors in the hunting market...but also lower quality. I love the idea of it, but when I put the range finder back to the piece of metal, it makes a pretty loud click noise, and you have to be very careful to avoid it making noise which is a big deal in the archery hunting world.
The piece that is designed to clip to the backpack strap. It would be nice if that Velcro'd on or attached differently. It was very difficult to get it on my backpack strap, but I would rather it be on my bino harness strap, which is a much thinner strap, so this metal clip will not work where I want it to work. The reason is that when I am out in the woods, I will take off my backpack but I will pretty much never take off my Bino harness, so that's where I would prefer to have this attached.
Let me know if you have any other metal clip options so that I can get this to work on my Bino harness strap, I'll attach a picture of it.

This is just what I was looking for. Holds my Nikon range finder securely and can get to the buttons easy. The magnet is super strong and holds on well. The tether is nice to have as an added backup so I don’t drop it out of my tree stand. As others have mentioned, when connecting back up the magnets slap together and make some noise. Just have to be careful when connecting the magnets together.

Love the concept; however, the magnet clip is way too large and bulky. I use a badlands bino harness and the clip doesn’t fit into the straps on the side. The clip is so large, I could never shoot my bow with the rangefinder attached. If the clip was slimmer and smaller it would be perfect.
Not for an archery hunter seaking a minimalist approach to field gear. The clip is heavy and rubber coated. This makes it quite noisy when the materials from the harness rub. The clip is also unnecessarily to wide for mollie loops. I do like the lanyard but there are probably other options.
